About Quimbaya Gold

Quimbaya Gold is a Canadian junior focused entirely on Colombia. Its flagship is the Tahami project in the Segovia gold district of northeast Antioquia. The land position grew about 37% during 2026, to 43,496 hectares, through ten new mineral applications. The company describes a wider portfolio of more than 73,000 hectares across Antioquia.

Tahami lies immediately next to Aris Mining’s Segovia operation, which Quimbaya’s CEO says produces about 250,000 ounces of gold a year. Quimbaya is testing two styles of target there: narrow, high-grade gold-silver veins similar to those mined at Segovia (Tahami South) and a large copper-molybdenum porphyry system (Tahami Center).

The company also holds the Maitamac project in Abejorral, Antioquia, and the Berrío project in Puerto Berrío. In August 2026 it granted 37 Capital Inc. an option to buy Berrío, which it calls non-core, for up to US$3.75 million in cash and shares.

Quimbaya closed a C$14.4 million bought deal financing led by Stifel Canada in November 2025. In February 2026 it reported about C$12 million in treasury and said it was fully funded for 2026.

Quimbaya Gold’s Colombian projects

Tahami

Tahami covers ground in the Segovia district, immediately next to Aris Mining’s Segovia mines. The company splits it into Tahami Center, South, North, Northwest and Southeast. Part of the 2026 expansion is made up of applications in the national mining cadastre, which are not yet granted titles and carry no right to explore or mine.

Tahami South is a vein target. Phase 1 drilling (5,320 m in 12 holes) hit narrow gold-silver veins, the best being 1.00 m at 0.77 g/t gold and 528 g/t silver (8.40 g/t gold equivalent). Ground geophysics later supported vein continuity, and Phase 2 drilling began in September 2026 with an extra rig.

Tahami Center is a porphyry target: a large, low-grade system of copper and molybdenum formed around an intrusion. Independent geologist Dr. Stewart Redwood confirmed a porphyry copper system in January 2026. Six holes (2,928 m) all hit the system, but at sub-economic grades. The longest interval was 526.95 m at 0.041% copper and 34 ppm molybdenum. Drilling there will pause after the current phase so the team can model the data and look for vectors to higher grade.

Tahami Southeast is a newer target. Selective rock samples returned up to 59.4 g/t gold and 52.3 g/t silver in July 2026, linked to historic workings. Selective samples are not necessarily representative.

Maitamac

Maitamac is located in Abejorral, in southern Antioquia. Company releases reviewed in 2026 name the project but give no geology, results or work plans.

Resources: No mineral resource yet.

Berrío

Berrío is in Puerto Berrío, Antioquia. It covers mining concession contract No. 6822 (about 1,219 hectares) and five related applications. In August 2026 Quimbaya granted 37 Capital Inc. (CSE: JJJ) a 12-month option to buy it for up to US$3.75 million. The price is made up of US$250,000 in non-refundable deposits, 7.6 million 37 Capital shares (about 19.9% of that company) and the remaining cash. The deal does not dilute Quimbaya shareholders.

Resources: No mineral resource yet.

Key risks for Quimbaya Gold stock

  • Early stage: there is no mineral resource, and porphyry grades drilled so far at Tahami Center are sub-economic.
  • Narrow veins: Tahami South intercepts are around 1 m wide, which makes continuity and future mining harder to prove.
  • Title risk: much of the 2026 land growth is applications, which may not be granted.
  • Related-party arrangements: directors and officers hold interests in Fenyx Commerce, the artisanal formalization partner.
  • Funding: the C$12 million reported in February 2026 is being spent on two drill programs, so a new financing is likely at some point.
  • Artisanal and illegal mining, plus security conditions, are long-standing issues in the Segovia district.
