About Auxico Resources
Auxico describes itself as exploring and developing mineral properties in Colombia and Bolivia. Its priority is the 188-hectare Minastyc property in Vichada, on the Orinoco near the Venezuelan border. Sampling there has confirmed tin, tantalum, niobium, vanadium and rare-earth minerals in near-surface placer-style material (loose mineral grains in sediments), but no drilling or metallurgical testing has been done.
The company has narrowed its portfolio. In December 2023 the board stopped funding the Zamora project in Mexico and the Massangana project in Brazil. In August 2025 it completed the sale of its Mexican subsidiary for US$200,000. A second focus is the past-producing El Benton tantalum-niobium mine in Bolivia, where it signed a memorandum in 2023 to acquire 85%.
Regulatory status matters as much as geology. The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) issued a failure-to-file cease trade order (CTO) on December 14, 2023, after the company missed continuous-disclosure filings. A partial revocation granted November 14, 2025 allowed a convertible debenture financing of up to C$990,000, but the shares remain under the CTO until a full revocation. In August 2025 Auxico also retracted technical information from an April 2025 presentation that a Qualified Person had not approved.
Title to Minastyc has also been questioned. The ANM registered mining title LFH-14431X, valid to 2040, in the name of individual Clímaco Unda Barrios. Auxico operates under an exclusive operating agreement while transfer is pending. Colombian media have reported that the ANM said in 2023 that Auxico itself was not a title holder.

Minastyc
Minastyc covers 188.74 hectares about 12 km south of Puerto Carreño, capital of Vichada, near the 50 km-wide Vichada impact structure. It is reached by road and river. Mining title LFH-14431X is registered with the ANM until August 21, 2040. In October 2023 Auxico signed an exclusive operating agreement and a security contract with the titleholder that let it operate while the title transfer is pending. Its initial Phase 1 target was up to 300 tonnes per month of tin concentrates from 18.4 hectares.
Corporinoquia, the regional environmental authority, approved the project’s environmental impact assessment. In June 2023 Auxico reported a temporary two-year environmental licence for small-scale open-pit extraction of niobium, tantalum, vanadium, zirconium, tin and gold. A 2023 El Espectador investigation reported that the permit covered only 3.94 hectares and required manual methods, and that communities in the nearby Guacamayas-Maiporé indigenous reserve were divided over the company.
Exploration consists of 361 test pits, 687 channel samples and 72 bulk samples. The February 10, 2025 NI 43-101 report (QP Ricardo Sierra) found that earlier sampling did not meet standards for a resource estimate. It recommended bulk sampling of at least 2.5 tonnes from at least 30 pits. Auxico has also proposed a rare-earth refinery in the Santa Marta free zone, which remained only a plan as of June 2025.
Resources: No mineral resource yet.

Key risks for Auxico Resources stock
- Cease trade order: shares cannot trade normally in Canada until the AMF grants a full revocation.
- Title: the Minastyc concession is held by an individual, not Auxico, and Colombian media have reported questions over the transfer.
- Disclosure track record: an AMF-driven technical report amendment (2023), retraction of non-compliant data (2025) and a direction to disregard earlier estimates.
- No resource, no drilling and a tiny permitted footprint: economic viability is unproven.
- Funding: about C$1M of planned financing against overdue filings and field costs implies further dilution.
- Social and environmental sensitivity: nearby indigenous reserve and the El Tuparro biosphere area.
