Privacy Policy

Veta Madre Review (vetamadrereview.com) is published by Tyvora Ventures in Toronto, Ontario. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • Newsletter sign-ups: your name, email address, the optional reader category you choose, and a record of your consent (date, time and the wording you agreed to).
  • Contact emails: your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
  • Analytics: information about how the site is used, such as pages visited, referring site, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through cookies or similar tools. We use this in aggregate and do not use it to identify you.

How we use it

We use your information to send the newsletter and reports you asked for, reply to your messages, understand which content is useful, and keep the site secure. We do not sell or rent personal information. We use a small number of service providers, such as our email platform, website host and analytics provider, to run the site. Some of them may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter data while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your email address and consent history only as long as needed to respect your choice and meet legal requirements. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with it. Analytics data is retained in line with our provider’s settings.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent, subject to legal limits. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every email. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
